The Logistics & Projects Coordinator will act as liaison between TRUMPF departments & our customers for execution of projects and clear coordination of all domestic machine deliveries. Providing excellent communications & customer service is of utmost importance. Support machine import & export processes as necessary. The qualified candidate will have strong customer service and a focus on teamwork.


Principle Duties & Responsibilities

Project Management-related duties & responsibilities:

  • Manage projects for standard customer orders with support of senior project managers. Support and consult relevant stakeholders.
  • Management and processing of customer orders, including order process documentation requirements and routine project status meetings
  • Take ownership until an order is fully executed–escalate and report to management in case project success is being prohibited.
  • Work closely with TRUMPF Germany, contract administration, service, and applications to assure project communication, timing and budget targets are optimized.


Logistics-related duties & responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate all domestic machine deliveries and returns.
  • Communicate with internal & external customers to arrange deliveries and answer questions as needed.
  • Scanning and filing of completed orders electronically.
  • Maintain proper and accurate documentation for all import and domestic shipments.
  • Communicate with freight companies (domestic and international).
  • Review freight invoices.
  • Communicate shipping info and freight quotes to various internal TRUMPF departments (sales, service etc.)
  • Must support development and on-going coordination of compliance work plans within TUSD
  • Develop and/or audit processes within TUSD including import, export & domestic movements

Your profile

Education & Experience

  • Associates Degree required
  • 1 year experience in customer service, logistics-related, project management, and/or manufacturing environment
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience of export compliance including Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and / International Traffic in Arms (ITAR)
  • 1 year experience and understanding of Customer Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT)
  • 6 months to 1 year experience with SAP
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Must be very organized and detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
