The individual will be responsible for the support of Wafer Fab Process Engineering during 2nd shift operation.    This includes process control/sustaining of existing processes, supporting the development of new processes, and supporting maintenance with equipment troubleshooting.  This individual will be the initial point of contact to resolve quality, yield or process issues and will have the ability to run production equipment if required.  They will be responsible to follow instructions provided by the Process owners and provide detailed reports on findings.  Excellent problem solving and communication skills as well as a desire to be part of and lead to solutions are critical to an individual’s success in the position.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supports Equipment and Processes of various complexity.
  • Rotation through multiple areas, demonstrate ability to support independently.
  • Supports production equipment and processes.
  • Supports with work instructions and OCAPs.
  • Works closely with more senior staff and takes direction well.
  • Able to develop productivity skills and best practices.
  • Capable of taking well-defined sub-tasks and completing these tasks in a reasonable time frame.
  • Supporting process control/sustaining of existing processes using JMP.
  • Capable to create/modify/adjust recipes to support R&D.
  • Support function to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
  • Collection of scrap/hold information to support more senior staff with 4D/8Ds.
  • Tracking/reporting of process yield data
  • Support process changes and ECNs.

Your profile


  • 1+ years hands on experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Processing experience in the areas of Epitaxy, Photolithography, Wet Process, Thin Films, or Wafer Thinning is desired
  • Quality control experience is a plus


  • Associate degree in Physics, Math, Electronics or Engineering is preferred
