Installation Coordinator – TruConnect projects

Your role

1.Contact person of the customer on site during the implementation phase of large automation projects (involving hardware, software, services etc.)
2.Communicate the requests from Delivery Manager to customer and vice versa
3.Prior to installation
- Provide advice to Delivery Manager about overall project plan
- Customer onsite condition check to be prepared for installation
- Preparation to start installation, e.g. vehicle rental, entrance document etc.
4.During installation and acceptance
- Goods unloading coordination, based on the contract condition
- Installation and commissioning onsite coordination
- 3rd party manpower coordination
- Regular project communication meetings on site and weekly status report to Delivery Manager
- Production support, onsite training arrangement
- Translation support to international engineers
- Open issues summary and follow up during acceptance phase.

Your profile

1.Bachelor’s degree Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, production engineering, or similar subjects
2.3+ years of experience in a technical role, production environment or in project management for technical projects/machine installations
3.Experience with handling customer relationships is a strong plus
4.Knowledge and skills
- Good coordination skills (judgement and people skills)
- Sound technical understanding (mechanical, production systems and/or automation technology) and deep interest in advanced machines and processing technologies
- Structured working approach and hands-on problem solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate on eye-level with senior customer representatives, sales representatives, internal leadership etc.
- Willingness to travel ( about 80% of working hours)
5.Chinese (native), fluent English (CET 4, fluent writing and orally)
