Installation Coordinator/Scheduler - Costa Mesa, CA
Your role
Responsible for efficiently coordinating and processing the installation of TRUMPF machine tools in the U.S., responsible for the scheduling and organization of field service engineers. Will be the direct interface with customers, field service technicians, service managers, sales and logistics to ensure quality and on time installation and repair of machinery.

- Provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to work in a high stress environment, to find solutions to problems in collaboration with others
- Coordinate and schedule service and/or installation dates of U.S. machines with customers, product support techs, service managers, sales, spare parts and logistics.
- Communicate to our customers their service status in a timely manner with empathy and compassion, provide daily updates per telephone
- Ensure all necessary resources are available at the right place at the right time (technician, tools etc.)
- Responsible for regional installation Synchro board for service region
- Maintain regions KPI’s of Synchro installation times, customer satisfaction rates, response times to customer, etc.
- Close collaboration with product centers, engineering and all different process owners in technical service
- Maintain good relations with customers, field service engineers, service managers and other TRUMPF personnel
- Help Regional Service Managers evaluate field service engineers technical and soft skills for accurate assignments and for entry into a skills matrix
- Coordinate daily with Regional Service Managers the location of field service and installation engineers
- In charge of managing the service toolboxes assigned to region
- Other administrative, projects, office and technical tasks as assigned by the Regional Service Manager
- 10% of travel based on training and customer needs
- Work closely with Product Support Group engineers regarding missions

Your profile
Should have call volume experience and prior scheduling knowledge. TRUMPF product knowledge helpful. Strong aptitude or knowledge of sophisticated technical machine tools. Organized person with above average knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, SIS knowledge a plus.
Education
Two year technical school degree with concentration in Engineering principles or suitable combination of education and work experience.
