National Service Supervisor - Tube

Your role

Lead a small team that will be responsible for service of the TruLaser Tube from diagnostics to repair based North America.


Principle Duties & Responsibilities

1. Provide exceptional customer service

2. Manage & motivate a small team of in-house and field service technicians in a close association

3. Oversee all in-house activities to solve repair missions over phone lines or with remote technology

4. Responsible to schedule all installations and repair missions at customer facilities in an expedited manner

5. Ensure all direct reports produce timely, detailed and well-written service mission reports

6. Responsible for setting training goals for group and keeping qualification matrix updated

7. Manage teams mobile tools and applications

8. Conduct daily/weekly/monthly synchro meetings with team regarding status, updates and escalations

9. Provide regular feedback engineering, development, production departments and other subsidiaries  

10. Plan, coordinate and schedule machine retrofits as needed

11. Responsible for all personnel related tasks like performance review, time and attendance, PTO

12. Support creation and improvement of documentation and processes

13. Work with director as needed on budget and department goals

14. Travel when required ~20%

15. Other administrative, office and technical tasks as assigned by director

Your profile

 Should have at least 5 years of technical service on highly complex machines and some experience with high power laser resonators – preferably solid state resonators. Must be well-mannered, able to work with all different types of customers and maintain good relationships. Must be willing to travel. An associate’s degree in business management and some technical training or experience in a technical field is preferable.
