The TRUMPF TruLaser Sales Engineer is responsible for providing sales support to end customers and field sales staff for the TruLaser product group. He/She is regarded as the subject matter expert in all questions regarding laser cutting possibilities and performance. Additionally, he/she actively analyzes market trends and develops strategic plans and documentation with the goal of expanding market share.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a role that provided experience in programming and operating production equipment. Excellent written and spoken communication skills are required as this position involves extensive interaction with customers. Experience in drafting/modeling software, along with excellent skills with Microsoft office products, especially Excel, and Power Point. TRUMPF product knowledge preferred. Ability to regularly lift 20-40 lbs. willing to operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
Associate’s degree or higher required, and added experience as mentioned above strongly desired. Knowledge of foreign language (Spanish, German) a plus
