Customer Service Representative

Your role

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all internal and external customers by communicating effectively with customers and the team members within the Customer Service Department. The CSR is responsible for  answering incoming calls and emails from internal and external customers and assisting with the placement of quotes, orders, refunds and returns.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities 

  1. Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and work to establish a positive rapport with internal and external customers
  2. Identify and assess customers’ needs in order to achieve high customer satisfaction
  3. Provide accurate, valid and complete information by utilizing the proper tools / methods
  4. Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  5. Enter quotes, orders, and process customer requests in an accurate, prompt and professional manner
  6. Utilize SAP and other systems to process internal and external customer requests
  7. Meet customer service targets i.e. call volume and order entry
  8. Work with other internal TRUMPF departments as needed
  9. Handle miscellaneous administrative duties as they become necessary
  10. Hours 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Your profile

Previous customer service experience is mandatory. The candidate must have experience with handling a large volume of incoming calls and must be able to communicate patiently and diplomatically. Availability to work weekends, nights and some holidays is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP or other CRM systems is necessary. 

Education

Minimum High School graduate or equivalent. College degree or equivalent education preferred.
