Your role

The Software Web Development Engineer, a member of the TruConnect software development team would be involved in developing state of the art software products for IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and Smart Factory applications. The TRUMPF Smart Factory solutions focuses on the entire value stream of the  manufacturing process providing diverse opportunities to develop industry first software products. The position calls for a passionate individual who feels strongly about developing reliable and scalable software that has direct impact on customers.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop front end UI for a Smart Factory production planning and control system (MES) 
    1. Illustration of the total material flow through production
    2. Loading of production orders on machines
    3. IoT dashboards for real-time visualization of machine data
  • Engage in architecture and platform design for MES Applications
  • Develop front end UI in Angular / HTML5 / CSS for well defined use cases. 
  • Develop solutions in migration of a Client/Server application to a Cloud based microservice solution.
  • Active participation in an agile scrum team consisting of development team, Scrum Master and Product Owner
  • Ability to act independently and minimal supervision.

Your profile

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems 2-4 years. Experience in web development using Angular, JS, HTML5, CSS. Demonstrated experience in SQL/MongoDB/MySQL. Self Motivated and analytical with excellent communication skills.
