Your role

The System Support Specialist is responsible for supporting customers with system integration (machines, automation, and storage),  system start-up, and providing on-site training and production support. This role focuses on creating an excellent customer experience from start-up to operation.  

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Operate fully automated systems comprised of various machine technologies (Laser, Punch, and Bending), storage systems (Stopa and TruStore), and software (TruTops Fab and Boost).
  2. Troubleshoot automation related issues and help resolve the problem in coordination with Service and Applications.
  3. Start-up support for the introduction of the TruLaser Center 7030
  4. Training customer operators on-site in the daily operation of systems.
  5. Primary contact for customers on system-related questions and issues.
  6. Work as required, with minimal or no supervision.
  7. Travel requirement is up to 100%, including overnight travel. It also includes national and international travel.

Your profile

Strong knowledge and experience in TRUMPF machines, automation equipment, and their operation. Excellent communication skills required due to intensive contact with customers.

Education

A minimum of 2-year technical school degree with a solid math background required or equivalent education and work experience.
