Your role

This position works within the infrastructure team responsible for the American region. The Cyber Security Analyst will be a member of the Virtual Global Security Incident Response Team (CIRT) and will be responsible for the identification and evaluation of cyber security incidents and initiation of appropriate measures for containment, solution and prevention.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identification and evaluation of cyber security incidents and initiation of appropriate measures for containment, solution and prevention
  • Definition, coordination and implementation of incident response measures
  • Be a member of our virtual global cyber security incident response team (CIRT)
  • Accompanying IT security assessments and audits such as penetration testing
  • Advice to internal customers/departments on the implementation of TRUMPF IT security standards
  • Independent, structured working methods, analytical thinking, high commitment as well as strong communication skills and team-oriented work
  • Broad basic knowledge on network infrastructures, operating systems, applications and secure application development.
  • Expertise in IT security infrastructure (including firewalls, endpoint protection, antispam, identity and access management, cloud security technologies, encryption technology, SIEM)
  • Practical experience in security incident handling, incident response and forensics
  • Expertise in typical cyberattack frameworks to identify and analyze cyber threats and cyber kill chains
  • Basic knowledge of common security standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, BSI Grundschutz, IEC 62443, NIST) 
  • Act as visible point of contact for customer engagements and project support 
  • Resolve and conduct root cause analysis of performance failures /issues 
  • Monitor, update and resolve service requests in the Service Now ticketing system
  • Produce documentation and change control 
  • Create documentation for end user support or departmental support, design and provide training when needed
  • Maintain facility security applications, ensure compliance to required regulations

Your profile

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science or business informatics or comparable 
  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of IT security as well as certifications with security focus such as CISM, CISA, CISSP, CEH
