TRUMPF Laser Technologies is seeking an entry level, energetic, self-motivated Returns Coordinator who will oversee the movement of the customer return and repair process.  You will be responsible to collaborate with various divisions of the company to solve problems and play a role in shaping the initial request of the customer through receipt and final resolution with the customer.  The Returns Coordinator will own the returns and repair program, monitoring performance and finding ways to optimize operationally. The Returns Coordinator will use a variety of soft skills and industry knowledge of best practices to improve the stages of the process. The ideal person for this role will be adaptable and ready to respond to questions with a sense of urgency and will want to develop new skills.  Moreover, the ideal person for this role will work with minimal supervision in a fast-pace work environment

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create quotes and sales orders in SAP to support customer repair process
  • Accurately process all return shipments and update SAP orders accordingly
  • After thorough inspection, Complete transactions in a timely manner necessary for all returns and price adjustments including refunds, exchanges, and credit memos
  • Review and log in returns received and reach out to vendors to obtain approval to return products where possible. If unable to return, will add to inventory; assists with inventory control with Logistics team.
  • Generate purchase orders in SAP for repairs and vendor credit requests
  • Package all outbound part shipments according to best practices for each item to avoid loss/damages
  • Use SAP Ship ERP software to create shipping labels & paperwork, including any documents required for export purposes
  • Resolve any shipping problems encountered by working with appropriate customer service representative
  • Follow-up with customers in a timely manner
  • Any additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by management
  • Adhere to all company guidelines


  • Occasional business travel for meetings and/or training may be required (<10%), this may require occasional overnight stays
  • Must maintain Valid Driver’s License

Physical Requirement


  • Normal amount of sitting and standing, average mobility to move around an office, and ability to conduct normal amount of work on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly, without assistance


Education & Experience


  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in fast paced order fulfillment / distribution center. Experience in automotive or industrial parts supply operation is desired
  • Experienced in the use / operation of warehouse equipment (pallet jack, fork-lift, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Highly organized and can handle multiple tasks
  • Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office; Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
