Your role

Being responsible for Industry Management and Product Management for our laser product portfolio you will have a double role: As Industry Manager you will develop, maintain and expand business relationships with strategically important customers for TRUMPF laser technology in relevant industry segments, e.g., automotive, electronics, medical, heavy industries or others. Working at the corporate level to develop strategies for improved business results across end user organizations, resulting in increased revenue. You will be the expert to be asked within TRUMPF when it comes to questions on the respective market segments and its supply chains in China. Therefore, you need to know all relevant technologies, have a “three to five years’ ahead perspective” to identify trends and to develop and to maintain the right network within the industry.

Your tasks as Industry Manager:

  • Identify, setup and maintain strategic partnerships
  • Project specific support and sales training
  • Management of special projects
  • Develop market strategies, i.e., market analysis, trend scouting, identify new opportunities and customers and develop Goto-Market strategies
  • Promotion of laser technology, e.g., definition of marketing activities, planning & joining internal / external events, webinars and writing articles and white papers
  • Support to complete other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor per business requirement

As “Product Manager” you will be responsible for one part of our solid state laser product portfolio in China. You will support our Industrial Sales and work on Integrators / develop cooperation partners and end customers/operators.

You will work closely with our sales teams, and Marketing and Communication, as well as the central product management department in our German headquarter.

With regular visits at end-customers’ sites, exhibitions as well as desktop researches you will observe and analyze the laser market and competitors.

Your profile

  • Bachelor Degree or higher or experience in relevant area 本科及以上学历或在相关行业有相关经验
  • Automotive, Electronics, Laser technology 汽车,激光技术,电气,机械,自动化,材料等相关专业
  • More than 3 years experience 3年以上工作经验
  • Automotive Industry in general 具有汽车行业经验
  • Laser applications in automotive, electronics, medical or others 具有汽车行业激光应用知识
  • Market analysis, working with Excel 借助 Excel 进行激光市场分析
  • Documentation and Presentation具有优秀的文献编辑和演讲的技能
  • Strong communication skills极强的交流能力
  • Native Chinese, fluent in English中文母语,英语流利
  • Team player, independent worker, fast learner, higher travel frequency具有团队精神,能够独立工作,自学能力强,能适应高频率的出差
  • Observe the regulations on the Employee’s Handbook and Code of Conduct of TRUMPF China能理解并遵守通快的员工手册和行为准则
